Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong
Begin your journey with pickup from the agreed location in Guwahati and drive towards Shillong. Stop at Umiam Lake along the way.
Depending on your arrival time and opening hours, visit Ward’s Lake or the Don Bosco Museum. Spend the evening exploring Police Bazaar before checking in for your overnight stay.
Overnight: Shillong
Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji
After breakfast, travel towards Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra. Possible stops include Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Viewpoint.
In the Cherrapunji area, explore a selection of Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave. Your driver and local arrangements will help determine the practical sightseeing sequence.
Overnight: Cherrapunji
Day 3: Cherrapunji Waterfalls and Nature Circuit
Spend the day exploring selected attractions around Cherrapunji, including Wei Sawdong Falls, Prut Falls, Lyngksiar Falls and the Garden of Caves.
The day’s route will depend on access, weather and the time available. Some attractions involve steps, uneven paths or approach walks.

Day 4: Nongriat Double-Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
Start early for the trek to Nongriat village and its Double-Decker Living Root Bridge.
This is a physically demanding day involving a long descent followed by a substantial climb back up. Visit the Blue Lagoon if conditions and your fitness allow.
Rainbow Falls is an optional extension requiring additional time and effort. Decide on this extension according to daylight, trail conditions and the group’s fitness.
Return to Cherrapunji for your overnight stay.
Overnight: Cherrapunji
Day 5: Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong and Dawki
Travel to Mawlynnong for a village visit, with possible stops at the Riwai Living Root Bridge and a local viewpoint.
Continue towards Dawki and the Umngot River. Boating may be arranged separately when operators are running and river conditions are suitable.
Overnight: Dawki area
Day 6: Dawki to Jowai Region and Guwahati
Begin your return journey through the Jowai region.
Visit Krang Suri Falls if time and access permit. Phe Phe Falls is an optional additional stop for travellers comfortable with the approach walk, provided sufficient time remains.
Continue to Guwahati for your agreed drop-off.
Overnight: No overnight stay included
